Many fond memories we have shared, I have never met such amazing people such as Joan and Lennie. Myself and my children feeling like family rather than just neighbours. From gardening, popping dishwasher salt on the weeds, apple crumples and custard made and delivered by Joan and admiring the wood turning items created by Lennie, visiting with the puppies and baby, building snowmen in the garden for them both to enjoy and the snow ball fights in the field in their view and many home made lockdown fish and chips on Fridays to maintain their routine I have enjoyed and truly loved listening to many stories, advice and guidance. Being put in my place by Joan if I’ve needed to be! 😂 and watching her put others in theirs too! So many laughs and so much love! I will find so much comfort in the thoughts they are now reunited and honoured by the memories Joan has shared with me in recent months. Truly a lovely, gentle, remarkable woman with the upmost dignity! I will truly miss my mumma Joan x
